![]() We stopped by on a nice Sunday afternoon for some wine and had a great time. The venue would have been a great setting for a great afternoon of wine and music and friends, but it was completely overshadowed by it's poor management and complete lack of customer service.īottom line: save your drive time and visit elsewhere. This place needs to think through their policies and give some power back to their customers. So it was ok to force guests to sit on glass because you would not open up tables, but it's not ok for guests who are seated to remove their shoes because stepping on glass would be bad? Again, this would have seemed altruistic, except we were sitting ON THE GROUND. Lastly, while we were still sitting in the heat, on the ground, we took our shoes off, as had many others, and were hounded several times about the safety issues of not having shoes on. I even had to ask for a second wine chiller for the second bottle of wine I had purchased as they were skimping on ice and trying to cram two bottles into one chiller. This took over 20 minutes while I stood and waited for the manager to give me said refund. The bartender was relentless at selling me into their wine club and then got upset when I declined the offer after he had jumped to ring up the sale - assuming that I would say yes - and then had to refund the discount. ![]() If that isn't bad enough, the service at the bar was slow and downright pushy. Instead, we got hot, sat on the ground while countless tables went without guests. How bad is it that a business would rather make current paying guests uncomfortable for hours to reserve a table for parties that may or may not ever show up? Or perhaps the tables could include the time of the reservation so parties could enjoy them for a period before the reservation time. Instead we watched as countless other guests entered the same area, obviously perplexed by the number of empty tables waiting to be used, and then ended up cramming in the hot, barely shaded area, where sitting on the ground was the only option. This wouldn't have been an issue if we had seen even one of these tables receive it's guests while we were there (for two hours!). We were told that all tables with ropes were reserved and we were free to sit anywhere that wasn't reserved. Upon entering a half-empty seating area and courtyard, we were excited to sit down, get comfortable and enjoy a long afternoon of wine and good company. We were met at the door by an aggravated woman who was looking for a fight because she wasn't allowed to drop off her guests. This was news to our friends who had visited before, so no problem, they dropped 3 of us off at the door and proceeded to the offsite lot. had to drive to an offsite parking lot and take a shuttle. Our party of five visited on Cinco de Mayo weekend and we had high expectations since our friends, who live locally, had visited before and enjoyed their experience.įirst we were greeted at the carpark by attendants who told us we couldn't park there, but. ![]() It's not often cold there, but can cool off in the later afternoon.Īlso, bring in food, but not drinks! The thing is you have to drink their wines, but no problem there! More Tip: Bring a sweater or sweatshirt.fog or breezes can roll in. They were very good and drinkable, but we were eating lots of Mexican and Italian foods so my palette was pretty overwhelmed. We had a pot luck with 20 people, and had lots of food, much of it spicy, so I can't really say much about the wines. There are several outdoor bars where you can buy their wines, of, the best deal is the "fights" where you taste a number of wines.
